BH12 High Pressure Borewell Air
High-pressure drilling enquiries require a supported operating point and a compatible equipment chain. Reddy Compressors considers these requirements subject to supplier confirmation. A pressure category on a website is an enquiry route; it is not confirmation that a machine is available or approved for a particular rig.
State where the pressure is required
Identify whether a figure refers to the compressor outlet, rig inlet, hammer supply or another location. Record whether it is gauge or absolute pressure, and whether it represents an operating target, a measurement or an equipment limit. These descriptions serve different purposes and should not be exchanged during quotation.
Pair pressure with flow. A proposal should show the supported air delivery at the requested setting, not combine maximum pressure from one configuration with maximum flow from another. OEM portable-compressor literature includes model-dependent regulating systems and performance ranges, reinforcing the need for an identified configuration.
Verify the downstream assembly
Prepare a component schedule covering the delivery connection, hoses, valves, instrumentation, rig inlet and relevant drilling equipment. Require the responsible supplier or engineer to confirm suitability for the intended service, including temperature and connection compatibility where applicable. Record any component that must be changed before the duty is accepted.
This schedule should remain with the project file. If the crew substitutes a hose or connection, the change needs review against the approved arrangement. Visual similarity or matching nominal connection size does not establish an equivalent service rating.
Make the commercial boundary explicit
A high-pressure enquiry should identify supply duration, mobilisation, site support, acceptance checks and customer-provided items. Clarify whether the proposal includes a primary compressor alone or an engineered combination. Obtain written warranty or rental terms for the offered equipment; do not infer them from a brand family or another customer’s contract.
Frequently asked questions
Does higher pressure guarantee a deeper bore? No universal depth guarantee is made here. Drilling suitability requires the complete duty and ground-condition assessment.
Can the existing air hose be retained? Only after its identity, condition and suitability have been verified for the proposed package.
Can a general pressure-range page settle the order? It can help organise an enquiry. Model-specific evidence and the application review settle the selection.
Discuss high-pressure supply: send the rig, hammer, required duty and component information using the project enquiry brief. Read the Air Hoses and Rig Connections guide before finalising the scope.
