Use this page to find out what we can do where your site is, and how to start. The short version: if you are in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh, our engineers come to you; if you are elsewhere in India, we can still supply and, for the right project, support on site.
Where do you provide service?
Our service teams cover every district of two states:
- Telangana – Hyderabad and Secunderabad, the Medchal, Sangareddy–Patancheru and Rangareddy industrial belts, and districts such as Warangal, Karimnagar, Nalgonda, Khammam, Mahbubnagar and Nizamabad. See air compressors across Telangana.
- Andhra Pradesh – Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Guntur, Kakinada, Nellore, Kurnool, Tirupati and the districts around them. See air compressors in Andhra Pradesh.
Within the twin cities, see Hyderabad for the city and its industrial areas, and Secunderabad for our Tarnaka base and parts collection.
We do not operate branches or depots outside Secunderabad, and we do not quote fixed response times. Each visit is planned around the job and the distance.

Supplying compressors, rentals and spares across India
Many buyers outside the two states come to us because we are multi-brand and neutral. We work with Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, ELGi, KAESER, Chicago Pneumatic, Gardner Denver, Sullair, Doosan, Kirloskar, Bobcat and many other makes as an independent specialist, not as an authorised distributor. That lets us compare options on the duty rather than on a single catalogue.
- Compressors. New and used or refurbished screw, piston, oil-free and portable diesel machines, with dryers, filters and receivers specified for the application.
- Rentals. Diesel and electric machines for shutdowns, breakdown cover, projects and drilling. See rental engineering.
- Spare parts. Identified from make, model, serial number, nameplate photo and the old part, with fit confirmed before we quote, then dispatched to your site.
How do out-of-state projects work?
For sites outside Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, we work as a project, not a routine call-out. The steps are:
- Brief. You send the duty, pressure, flow or tool list, air-quality needs, power or fuel arrangement, site location and timeline. For existing machines, include nameplates and photos.
- Review. We check the requirement, ask questions and propose a machine or package with the reasoning behind it.
- Site survey where needed. For larger installations or complex replacements, a survey or a detailed video walk-through confirms space, ventilation, piping, electrical supply and access.
- Dispatch. Equipment, accessories and documents are sent with an agreed scope for transport, unloading and installation responsibilities.
- Commissioning support where feasible. Depending on the project, this may be a service engineer on site, remote guidance for your team or a local contractor working to our checklist.
- Follow-up. Spares, consumables and technical questions continue from Secunderabad.
We are open about what is feasible. Some remote jobs are better served by a local service provider for routine visits while we supply machines and parts. See geographic and project support.
Which page should I read for my site?
Each location page covers a different need, so start with the one that matches your situation:
- A plant or site in Hyderabad city or its suburbs – the Hyderabad page covers city-wide service, the main industrial areas and the duties we see most.
- Collecting parts or visiting us – the Secunderabad page covers our Tarnaka office and the nearby areas.
- A Telangana district site – the Telangana page covers pharma belts, granite, quarrying, construction and borewell drilling across the state.
- An Andhra Pradesh site – the Andhra Pradesh page covers ports, steel, aquaculture, food processing, granite and coastal conditions.
- Anywhere else in India – this page explains supply and project support.
Why a brief matters more as distance grows
Within the twin cities, a quick look at a machine costs little. Over hundreds of kilometres, a visit without the right part is expensive for everyone. That is why we ask for a nameplate photo, fault codes, running hours and a short description of what changed before the problem began. With that, many faults can be narrowed down remotely, parts can be confirmed before dispatch, and the visit becomes a repair rather than an inspection. The same applies to new equipment: a clear statement of pressure, flow, air quality, ambient conditions and available power lets us propose the right machine first time, instead of a generic size from a catalogue.
Regional conditions we plan for
Most compressor problems in the region come from environment, not from the machine itself:
- Summer heat across the Deccan plateau and Rayalaseema pushes air-cooled machines towards their maximum ambient limit, causing high-temperature trips.
- Dust from quarries, cement, construction and agro-processing loads intake filters and blocks coolers.
- Monsoon and coastal humidity raise condensate loads and test dryers and drains.
- Salt on the Andhra coast corrodes coolers, panels and receivers.
For sites elsewhere in India, we ask about the same factors – ambient range, altitude, dust and humidity – because they affect sizing, cooling and treatment choices.
Projects we have delivered across India
These are projects delivered by our team, which operates as Reddy Compressors and Reddy Generators under the same management. Each record is taken from the customer’s purchase order or work order. We do not name customers or publish commercial terms without their consent, so each is described by sector and location.
| Year | Location | Customer and duty | What we supplied |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2008 to June 2009 | Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh | International oilfield-services company, working as contractor on a major natural-gas development: temporary power and air package for about 18 months | Six high-pressure compressors (three at 1,100 cfm and 300 psig, two at 1,000 cfm and 275 psig, one at 750 cfm and 150 psig), generators from 1.5 kVA single-phase to 200 kVA three-phase, cable junction boxes and distribution boards, operators and a technician, erection, commissioning and transport |
| 2013 | Steel plant, Andhra Pradesh | Industrial coating and corrosion-protection contractor: urgent job with round-the-clock duty | 450 cfm diesel portable compressor on hire with skilled operators on 12-hour shifts; full maintenance in our scope, including oil changes every 300 running hours and breakdown support |

More project experience
Our team has also supplied compressed air for:
- Oil refinery and petroleum installations: compressors for a corrosion-protection and coating contractor at a public-sector oil refinery and at a petroleum installation in Kurnool, as well as the steel plant job listed above.
- Thermal power project at Muthukur, Nellore district, Andhra Pradesh: work for the plant developer under a major EPC contractor.
- Lift irrigation project, Kurnool district: three 450 cfm compressors for an infrastructure contractor.
- Metro rail construction: compressed air for metro works in Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
Details of these and other projects can be shared with prospective customers on request, where the original customer agrees.
Across these projects the pattern is the same. We define the duty first (flow, pressure, hours and site conditions), then supply machines that are serviced before dispatch. Commissioning, operators and maintenance are agreed in writing. Our office is in Tarnaka, Secunderabad. We service across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and supply compressors, rentals and spare parts across India.
Districts within about 300 km of Hyderabad and their compressed-air users
Service coverage is not limited to the towns that have their own pages. It extends to every district within about 300 km of Hyderabad, including neighbouring districts of Karnataka and Maharashtra. The table groups them by approximate road distance and lists the industries that most often run compressors there, which shapes the machines and spares a visit should plan for.
| Approximate road distance from Hyderabad | Districts and towns | Main compressed-air users |
|---|---|---|
| Within about 100 km | Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Sangareddy (Patancheru, Pashamylaram, Bollaram), Medak (Toopran), Yadadri Bhuvanagiri (Choutuppal, Bhongir), Vikarabad | Pharmaceutical and bulk drug plants, engineering and fabrication, plastics and packaging, food processing, construction |
| About 100 to 200 km | Nalgonda and Miryalaguda, Suryapet, Mahbubnagar and Jadcherla, Wanaparthy, Gadwal, Siddipet, Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal and Hanamkonda, Tandur | Rice mills, cement and limestone, granite quarrying and processing, pharmaceutical parks, textiles and cotton ginning, sugar, borewell drilling |
| About 200 to 300 km | Peddapalli and Ramagundam, Mancherial, Khammam, Kothagudem, Adilabad, Kurnool, Nandyal, Vijayawada, Guntur | Coal mining, thermal power, fertiliser, cement, granite and stone, cotton ginning and spinning, automobile workshops, food processing |
| Neighbouring states within about 300 km | Bidar, Kalaburagi, Yadgir and Raichur (Karnataka); Nanded (Maharashtra) | Automotive components and engineering, cement and limestone, chemicals, thermal power, rice mills, sugar and cotton |
What each industry means for a service visit
- Pharmaceutical and food plants: oil-free compressors, desiccant dryers and sterile filters are common, and pressure dew point records matter as much as the compressor itself.
- Cement, stone, granite and coal: fine dust shortens air filter and cooler cleaning intervals; check intake filter restriction and cooler faces at every visit.
- Rice mills, sugar and cotton ginning: seasonal peaks put long hours on machines in a few months, so service by running hours, not by calendar date.
- Power, fertiliser and large process plants: instrument air and centrifugal or large screw machines, usually with permit-to-work systems that need planning days ahead.
- Borewell drilling and quarries: diesel portable and high-pressure DTH compressors that move between sites.
Distances are approximate and depend on the route. Districts beyond about 300 km in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh remain covered; see Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Planning a service visit outside Hyderabad
On a site 200 km away, a missing part or an unclear fault can cost a second round trip. Most of that risk is removed before anyone travels, by sending the right photographs and readings and by preparing the site.
Photographs and readings that allow remote diagnosis
| Send | What it tells the engineer |
|---|---|
| Nameplate of the compressor, motor and dryer | Exact model and build variant, so the right parts list is used |
| Controller main screen while running on load | Discharge pressure, airend temperature, running and loaded hours |
| Controller alarm and trip history | Whether the fault is new, repeating or one of several |
| Short video of start-up and loading, with sound | Knocks, belt squeal, valve chatter, star-delta changeover problems |
| Oil sight glass, separator and filter indicators | Oil level and condition; whether filters or separator are blocked |
| Cooler face and the room around the machine | Dust choking, hot-air recirculation, poor ventilation |
| Phase voltages and currents (if an electrician is on site) | Supply imbalance, single phasing or an overloaded motor |
| Photographs of any failed part, with a tape measure in frame | Part identification and the likely cause of failure |
Prepare the site
- Make sure the machine can be isolated electrically and depressurised, with a lockout point.
- Arrange access: gate pass, permit to work and any safety induction the plant requires.
- Keep the old parts, the last service report and the oil type used.
- Plan for temporary air if the plant cannot stop; see compressor rental.
Worked example: a capacity check you can do before the visit
A complaint of “low air” may be a weak compressor or simply more demand than the machine can supply. A pump-up test separates the two. Isolate all air users, drain the receiver to 6 bar(g), then time the rise from 6 to 7 bar(g) on load.
Example (illustrative): receiver 2,000 litres plus about 200 litres of pipework, so the volume is 2.2 m³. The pressure rises 1.0 bar in 30 s, which is 0.5 min. Free air delivered ≈ 2.2 × (1.0 ÷ 1.01325) ÷ 0.5 = 4.34 m³/min, or about 153 cfm. If the nameplate rating is 5.0 m³/min, the machine delivers about 87% of its rating, which points to the machine rather than plant demand: check the intake filter, inlet valve, belts and airend, and any leak on the isolated pipework. Because air heats as it is compressed into the receiver, the result reads slightly high, so true delivery is a little lower still. Full method: compressor pump-up test and capacity check.
Which service page matches your “near me” search?
Searches such as “compressor repair near me” or “air compressors near me” cover very different needs. Start from the page that matches the job.
| Your need | Start here | Have ready |
|---|---|---|
| Compressor stopped, tripping or not building pressure | Air compressor repair | Fault code, alarm history, nameplate photograph |
| Routine service due on a screw compressor | Screw compressor service | Running hours, last service date, oil type |
| Planned maintenance for one or more machines across the year | Compressor AMC | Asset list with serial numbers and annual hours |
| Air needed now, for a breakdown, shutdown or project | Compressor rental | Flow, pressure, power supply or diesel, duration |
| A filter, separator, valve kit or other spare | Compressor spare parts | Nameplate and a photograph of the old part |
| Machining-shop work: airend, cylinder, valve or cooler rebuild | Overhauling and refurbishment | Running hours, symptoms, oil analysis if any |
| Small piston compressor for a garage, tyre shop or workshop | Garages and tyre shops | Tools used, pressure needed, single or three phase supply |
| Borewell or DTH compressor | Borewell compressor service | Engine hours, compressor hours, rig and hammer details |
| Water in the air lines or a dryer fault | Air dryers | Dryer nameplate, pressure dew point reading, drain condition |
| Buying a machine, new or used | Used compressors for sale or equipment selection | Measured demand, pressure, air quality, duty hours |
Repair on site or move the machine?
Most compressor work is done where the machine stands. Some jobs need a clean bench, a press or machine tools, and the machine or its airend has to travel. Knowing which is which helps plan downtime and temporary air.
| Job | Usually done on site | Usually needs a workshop or machining |
|---|---|---|
| Filters, oil, separator, belts | Yes | No |
| Inlet, minimum pressure and thermostatic valve kits | Yes | No |
| Sensors, solenoids, controller, contactors | Yes | No |
| Cooler cleaning | External cleaning on site | Internal chemical cleaning or core repair |
| Piston compressor valves and rings | Often on site for smaller machines | Cylinder reboring, crankshaft grinding |
| Motor bearings | Sometimes on site | Rewinding or shaft repair |
| Screw airend bearings and seals | Rarely | Yes: clean dismantling, rotor clearance checks and press work |
For an airend that must go away for rebuild, a rental compressor sized to the plant’s measured demand keeps production running in the meantime.

Frequently asked questions
Is Reddy Compressors only a Hyderabad company?
No. Our office is in Tarnaka, Secunderabad, but our service teams cover all of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. We also supply compressors, rental machines and spare parts across India, with project-based site support elsewhere where it is feasible. We do not have branch offices, so all work is planned and dispatched from Secunderabad.
Can you supply a compressor to a site outside Telangana and Andhra Pradesh?
Yes. We supply new and used compressors, dryers, filters and receivers across India. Send the duty, pressure, flow, air-quality needs, power supply and site location. We propose a machine with the reasoning, agree transport and installation responsibilities, and arrange commissioning support where feasible, either on site or through remote guidance.
Do you send spare parts to other states?
Yes. Spare parts are dispatched across India. Send the compressor make, model, serial number, a nameplate photo and a photo of the old part. We identify the correct item and confirm fit before quoting, so you avoid parts that look similar but do not seal or fit correctly.
Can I rent a compressor for a project in another state?
Yes, with planning. Rental machines from 50 to 2,000 cfm and 2 to 30 bar, diesel and electric, can be supplied to projects across India. Share the duty, hire period and site arrangements early so transport, fuel or power and on-site responsibilities can be agreed before dispatch. Availability is confirmed at enquiry.
What does commissioning support where feasible mean?
It means we agree the form of support for each project. For some jobs a service engineer attends site. For others, remote guidance by phone and video helps your team or a local contractor follow our commissioning checklist. We tell you which approach we can offer before you order, so there are no surprises on site.
Where can I find compressor repair near me outside Hyderabad?
Reddy Compressors repairs and services compressors across all of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and in districts within about 300 km of Hyderabad, including neighbouring districts of Karnataka and Maharashtra. Call or WhatsApp 99590 60718 with the make, model, nameplate photograph, fault code and a short video of the fault. Photographs and readings sent in advance help the engineer bring the right parts, so the job is more likely to be finished in one visit. The office is open seven days, 8:30 to 20:30.
Can an air compressor fault be diagnosed from photos and readings?
Many faults can be narrowed down remotely. The most useful items are the nameplate, the controller screen on load, the alarm history, a short video of start-up with sound, the oil sight glass, filter and separator indicators, and the cooler face. Phase voltages and currents help with electrical faults. Remote diagnosis does not replace a site visit for most repairs, but it identifies likely parts and causes beforehand, which matters most on sites far from Hyderabad.
Where can I buy a small air compressor for a garage or workshop near me?
Reddy Compressors sells small 2 to 10 hp piston compressors for garages, tyre shops, workshops and dental clinics, from Secunderabad to sites across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and the rest of India. Size by free air delivery, not piston displacement, which on a small single-stage pump is often a third or more higher. Also check the cut-out pressure your tools need, single or three phase supply, and receiver size. For an existing unit, note the cut-in and cut-out pressures and time a fill between them: a fill that has grown much slower shows the pump has lost capacity.
What is the difference between compressor repair and a compressor machine shop?
Repair covers fault-finding and part replacement, which is mostly done on site: valves, filters, separators, sensors, belts and controllers. A machine shop handles work that needs machining or precision assembly, such as reboring piston compressor cylinders, grinding crankshafts, or dismantling a screw airend to replace bearings and seals with rotor clearances checked. Many breakdowns need only site repair. If the airend or cylinder must go to a machine shop, plan temporary air for the time it is away.
