Why location is an engineering variable
A compressor does not work on a map; it works at a site. That site might be a factory, a construction project, a quarry, a mine, a borewell location, an infrastructure corridor, a fabrication yard, a plant shutdown or a remote drilling job. Each one changes the practical requirements for selection, transport, installation, service and support.
Site conditions also change how a compressor performs. Summer ambient temperatures of 40–45 °C, and above 45 °C on open sites, in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh reduce cooling margin, dust loads filters and coolers, coastal sites bring humidity and corrosion, and remote locations make fuel, parts and access the deciding factors. A site 50 km away can sometimes be harder to support than one several hundred kilometres away on a good road.

Different services, different geographic limits
Geographic support is not one service. A compressor can be sold and transported to a distant site relatively easily. A spare part can be dispatched once it is correctly identified. A technical discussion can happen by phone, email or WhatsApp. A rental machine, however, needs transport, positioning, servicing during hire and eventual return. Field service needs the right people and tools at site, and an overhaul may mean moving a component to a workshop.
That is why we always separate equipment delivery from a complete installed project. They are not automatically the same scope, and we confirm which one you need at the start.
Equipment supply across India
We supply rotary screw, reciprocating, oil-free, high-pressure and portable compressors, together with dryers, filters, receivers and system components, from many manufacturers. For long-term projects we can supply brand-new compressors directly to site. Before dispatch we confirm:
- The exact delivery location and who will receive and unload the machine
- Whether installation and commissioning are in our scope
- Any transport restrictions at the site or on the route
- The electrical supply or fuel arrangement available
- The documents the client or site requires
Rental mobilisation: plan before the truck moves
Rental is the most location-dependent part of our work. Our fleet covers 50–2,000 cfm at 2–30 bar, diesel and electric. To avoid the common failure where the right compressor arrives at the wrong site set-up, we agree these points before dispatch:
- Application: what the compressor must operate.
- Required flow in cfm or m³/min, and pressure at the point of use in bar and psig.
- Exact site location and whether a truck or trailer can reach and position the machine.
- Daily running hours and total project duration.
- Distance from compressor to point of use, and hose or pipe needed.
- Air quality: whether an aftercooler, moisture separator, dryer or filters are required.
- Fuel or electrical arrangements and who is responsible for them.
- Operators, servicing during hire and breakdown cover.
On hire jobs we service machines every 300 running hours, including oil change. On long or round-the-clock hires, that schedule is planned into the job from the start.
Portable, borewell and project support
Portable compressed air exists because the work moves: construction, infrastructure, mining, quarrying, drilling, sandblasting, road breaking and pipeline work. Typical portable classes are 185–250 cfm for one or two tools, 250–400 cfm for two to four tools, and 400–600 cfm for three to six tools, crawler drills or plant standby.
Borewell and DTH work is especially sensitive to site conditions. Useful information includes location and elevation, hole diameter, target depth, hammer and rig, ground conditions and water, and the pressure and flow required. Borewell compressors typically range from 600 to 1,500 cfm at 200–400 psig (13.8–27.6 bar), with special units up to about 35 bar (507.6 psig). We supply all types, brands and models of borewell compressors: new, used, rental, service and spare parts.
Our project experience reaches well beyond Hyderabad. It includes a temporary power-and-air package for a natural-gas development at Kakinada, with compressors from 750 to 1,100 cfm at 150–300 psig, generators, distribution boards, operators and commissioning; a 450 cfm diesel on round-the-clock hire at a steel plant in Andhra Pradesh; compressors on hire for power-plant projects; a 400 cfm machine and generator for an infrastructure contractor at Raichur; and three 450 cfm compressors for a lift irrigation project in Kurnool district. Where a project needs generators as well, Reddy Generators, under the same management, supplies them.
Regional conditions that affect compressors
Telangana and Andhra Pradesh cover very different working conditions, and they shape both machine selection and service planning.
- Inland summer heat across the Deccan plateau, often 40–45 °C and above 45 °C on open sites, which tests cooling systems and compressor room ventilation.
- Dust from construction, quarrying, cement and road work, which loads inlet filters and blocks cooler fins.
- High humidity in coastal Andhra Pradesh, from Visakhapatnam and Kakinada down to Nellore, which increases condensate and raises the load on dryers and drains.
- Variable power quality at some rural and project sites, which can make diesel portables or careful starter selection the better choice.
- Long distances between borewell and irrigation sites, where fuel, spares and access must be planned in advance.
We take these into account when we size a machine, select air treatment and plan servicing during a hire.
Remote technical support
Many questions can be answered before anyone travels. Clear nameplate photos, controller screen photos, alarm codes and a few readings, such as discharge pressure and temperature, are often enough to narrow a fault, identify a part or confirm whether a rental machine suits the duty. This saves time for sites anywhere in India and makes any later visit far more productive, because the service engineer arrives with the right parts and tools.
Field service across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh
Our service teams cover the whole of both states, including the Hyderabad and Secunderabad industrial belt, pharmaceutical clusters, steel, power and cement plants, construction and infrastructure projects, and borewell operators in rural districts. For each visit we consider:
- The likely fault and the parts and tools to carry
- Site permits, safety induction and working hours
- Whether temporary air is needed while the repair is done
- Whether a component must come back to Secunderabad for overhaul
For sites outside Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, we assess service support project by project, especially where our rental machines or newly supplied compressors are working.
Combined power and air for remote sites
Remote projects often need electricity as well as compressed air, for lighting, welding, pumps and site offices. Because Reddy Generators operates under the same management, we can plan generator sets, distribution boards and compressors as one temporary utilities package, with one point of contact for transport, commissioning and maintenance. This was the approach on our Kakinada gas-development package and on the Raichur hire, where a compressor and a generator set went to site together. Planning both utilities together reduces the number of separate suppliers and makes servicing during the project simpler to coordinate.

Frequently asked questions
Do you only serve Hyderabad and Secunderabad?
No. Our office is in Tarnaka, Secunderabad, but our service teams cover the whole of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. We supply new and used compressors, rental machines and spare parts across India, and we arrange project-based site support in other states where it is feasible for the scope and duration of the job.
Can you supply a rental compressor outside Telangana?
Yes. We have supplied compressors on hire to projects in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and elsewhere. For each hire we plan transport, positioning, hoses, air treatment, servicing every 300 running hours and breakdown support. Tell us the site, application, pressure, flow and duration, and we will confirm what is practical.
Do you have branches in other cities?
No. Our only office is at Tarnaka, Secunderabad. Service engineers travel from there across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and equipment and spares are dispatched across India. We would rather be clear about this than list cities where we have no office.
How quickly can you reach my site?
Send the site location, nameplate photos and a short description of the problem, and we will tell you honestly what we can arrange and when.
Can you send spare parts to another state?
Yes. We dispatch spare parts across India. Before quoting, we identify the part from the machine’s make, model, serial number, a nameplate photo and, ideally, the old part, and we confirm fit. This avoids the delay of sending a part that does not match your compressor.
Do you support borewell compressors in rural areas?
Yes. We sell, rent, service and supply spares for borewell compressors of all types, brands and models, and our service teams work across rural Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
