Why one brand cannot cover every requirement
A working compressed-air system is rarely made by one company. A typical installation combines a compressor package, an airend, a motor or diesel engine, controls, a dryer, filters, a receiver, drains, valves, hoses, lubricants and distribution pipework. Each of these may come from a different manufacturer, and each has its own service parts and documentation.
Most plants we visit in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh also run a mixed fleet. A pharmaceutical unit may have oil-free screw compressors from one maker, refrigerated dryers from another and a standby portable from a third. A drilling contractor may run high-pressure diesel compressors from two or three brands. Supporting these customers means understanding several product families at once.
That is why our approach starts with the requirement, not the logo:
- Define what the air must do: flow, pressure, air quality, duty and site conditions.
- Identify the technology that fits: oil-injected or oil-free screw, piston, portable diesel, electric, high-pressure booster, dryer type and filtration class.
- Confirm the supply path: new machine, used or refurbished machine, rental unit, genuine part, quality aftermarket part, or service from our own team.
What the network covers
Our network is technical before it is commercial. A supplier relationship is useful only if it helps solve a real requirement on a real machine.

How we describe our relationship with each brand
Customers deserve to know exactly what our relationship with a manufacturer is. Several very different relationships can exist, and we keep them separate.
- Equipment supplied. We can supply new or used machines of that brand through a genuine commercial route. This does not mean we are the manufacturer’s appointed distributor.
- Equipment serviced. Our engineers service, repair and overhaul that brand’s machines. Scope depends on the model, controller, generation and documentation available.
- Parts supported. We can identify and source genuine or compatible parts for that brand, with fit checked against the actual machine.
- Customer-owned equipment. We support machines we did not originally supply, which is the majority of service work in most plants.
- Sourced on request. Some equipment is not standard stock but can be sourced against a defined specification.
We are not an authorised distributor or dealer of any brand named on this site. Brand names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to describe the machines we sell, rent, service and support.
Genuine and aftermarket parts
For most service items there are two routes: genuine parts from the original manufacturer’s channel, and quality aftermarket parts made to fit the same machine. Both have a place, and the right choice depends on the machine and the risk.

Whichever route we use, we tell the customer which it is. A filter or separator that looks right but has the wrong media, bypass setting or gasket can cost far more in oil carry-over or airend damage than it saves.
How we identify the right part
Parts are where a network proves its worth. A wrong part wastes a shutdown, so we confirm fit before we quote.
- Collect the make, model and serial number from the nameplate, ideally with a photo.
- Note the working pressure, motor or engine rating and year of manufacture where known.
- Check the old part: part number, dimensions, thread, gasket and markings.
- Match against the manufacturer’s parts data or our own records for that model.
- Confirm genuine or aftermarket source, and tell the customer before ordering.
- Check the part on arrival against the old one before it goes to site.
Supporting older and discontinued machines
India has a large population of older compressors still doing useful work. When a model is discontinued, original parts may become hard to find. Our multi-brand experience helps here: we can often identify interchangeable filters and kits, find a compatible replacement valve or cooler, or arrange specialist repair of an airend or component. Where a machine has reached the point where repair no longer makes sense, we say so and help plan the replacement, whether new, used or rental.
Rental fleet and project supply
Our network also includes our own assets. We run a rental fleet of diesel portable and electric compressors from 50 to 2,000 cfm and 2 to 30 bar (about 30–435 psig), including high-pressure units, and for long-term projects we can supply brand-new compressors to site. Through Reddy Generators, which is under the same management, we can add diesel generator sets for complete temporary power-and-air packages. One such project was a package of high-pressure compressors and generators supplied, erected and commissioned for a natural-gas development at Kakinada, with operators and a technician on site.
Matching technology to the duty
A network is only useful if it leads to the right technology. Different duties point to different machine families, and part of our work is steering customers away from a familiar choice that does not fit.
- Continuous plant air at 7–10 bar (101.5–145 psig): usually an oil-injected screw compressor, with a refrigerated dryer and filters matched to the air-quality class.
- Pharmaceutical, food, beverage and electronics processes: often an oil-free compressor, where the risk of oil contamination outweighs the higher purchase cost.
- Small workshops and intermittent use: a reciprocating compressor can still be the sensible, economical choice.
- Construction, blasting and maintenance sites: a portable diesel compressor, typically 185–600 cfm, sized to the tools and nozzles.
- Borewell and DTH drilling: high-pressure diesel compressors, typically 600–1,500 cfm at 200–400 psig (13.8–27.6 bar).
- Rural breakers and rock drills: tractor-mounted PTO compressors, typically 100–140 cfm at 7–10 bar.
For each family we know which manufacturers make what, which parts wear and how the machines behave in Indian conditions of heat, dust and variable power. That knowledge, rather than any single supply agreement, is the real value of the network.

- We describe each brand relationship by its real status, never implying an appointment that does not exist.
- We confirm technical data against the actual machine, not a catalogue assumption.
- We state whether a part is genuine or aftermarket.
- We do not quote delivery or stock we have not confirmed.
- We recommend the technology that fits the requirement, even when it is not the brand we supply most often.

Are you an authorised dealer for Atlas Copco, ELGi or Ingersoll Rand?
No. Reddy Compressors is an independent multi-brand specialist. We sell, rent, service and supply parts for machines from ELGi, Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, KAESER, Chicago Pneumatic, Doosan and others, but we are not an authorised distributor or dealer of any of them, so we can recommend whichever make suits the duty.
Can you service a compressor you did not supply?
Yes. Most of our service work is on customer-owned machines that were bought elsewhere. We service, repair and overhaul multi-brand screw, piston and portable diesel compressors across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Send us the make, model, serial number and a description of the problem so we can prepare the right parts and tools.
Should I use genuine or aftermarket compressor parts?
Genuine parts are the safest choice for machines under warranty and for critical items such as airends, controllers and safety devices. Quality aftermarket parts can be a sound choice for routine consumables and older models, provided fit and specification are verified. We always tell you which type we are quoting so you can decide with full information.
Can you find parts for an old or discontinued compressor?
Often, yes. We start from the nameplate and the old part, then look for the original part, an interchangeable part or a compatible replacement. For major components, specialist repair can sometimes be arranged. If a machine has reached the end of practical repair, we will say so and help you compare new, used and rental options.
Do you supply compressors outside Telangana and Andhra Pradesh?
Yes. Our service teams cover Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, while compressors, rentals and spare parts are supplied across India. For projects elsewhere, we can arrange site support where feasible. Tell us the location, duty and duration, and we will confirm what we can supply and how support will be arranged.
How long does it take to get a compressor spare part?
It depends on the part, the brand and whether a genuine or aftermarket item is chosen. Common consumables such as filters and separators are usually easier to source than airends, controllers or parts for discontinued models. We confirm availability before quoting and will not promise a date we have not checked. Sending a nameplate photo and the old part number speeds identification.
