Rental air can support a defined drilling assignment, a temporary capacity requirement or continuity while an owned machine is being assessed. The enquiry should describe the duty and working period clearly enough to identify a suitable available unit. A similar CFM label does not establish an interchangeable replacement.

Specify the assignment
Provide required airflow at pressure, rig and hammer information, location, start date, expected duration and working hours. State whether the compressor is the sole supply or part of an existing arrangement. Include the connection scope and any requirement for operator attendance or familiarisation.
For an urgent replacement, describe the original duty and the reason for the change. If a machine stopped because of an unresolved application issue, that issue should be reviewed before a substitute is committed to the same arrangement.
Settle the commercial terms
Request a quotation covering hire commencement, included hours, additional-hour basis, mobilisation, return movement and extension arrangements. Identify responsibility for fuel, routine attention, consumables, service reporting and customer-caused damage under the actual agreement.
Confirm whether quoted support includes attendance and what happens during a service event. Emergency coordination is subject to confirmed resources and arrangements; this page does not promise a response time, uninterrupted operation or standby equipment.
Accept and return against a record
Record the dispatched asset, hours, condition and accessories. At site, confirm the supplied configuration and approved connections before working use. Retain the duty statement and the applicable operating instructions with the assignment record.
At return, reconcile hours, condition, supplied items and outstanding observations. A clear start and finish record helps both parties resolve the commercial position without relying on memory or an informal description of the machine.
Link rental to the wider equipment decision
A temporary hire can be considered alongside repair, overhaul or a future purchase, but the rental and workshop scopes should remain separately defined. Do not assume a repair completion date before inspection or parts availability is established.
Request rental availability: send the required duty, site, dates and proposed hours through the project enquiry brief. High-pressure equipment and wider Indian mobilisation require specific confirmation. For longer programmes, include extension expectations in the initial request.
